A new friend is arriving to add to the Awareness buzz
“PANDAABUZZ”
Parental Alienation Awareness Organization, who brought you Parental Alienation Awareness Day, is now proud to announce the launch of it’s new Mascot Panda Abuzz.
Panda Abuzz (Abuzz for short) was developed by Donna Ingold of Australia, Sarvy Emo of Canada, and Bron (Biadragon) of the UK, who came together along with input from adult children of alienation as well as professionals in the field to create Abuzz.
Look for cartoon strips, stand alone cartoons, and much much more featuring the lovable Panda, who is to be an extension of the alienated child’s feelings and thoughts. Panda’s job is to raise awareness and educate parents about the harm Parental Alienation does to children, and to bring love and comfort to children.
Panda Abuzz the stuffed animal will be retailing for $25.99 once in production. We are now offering you the opportunity to buy him at the pre-production price of 50% off, ONLY $12.99.
Abuzz has embroidery on each of his paws. It says ‘Mom loves me’ on one, and ‘Dad loves me’ on the other, reminding the child that they are loved, and allowing the child to hug him or herself with Panda’s paws for comfort.
The NEW website www.paawarenessday.com is a resource for all to use and encourages cooperation accross the globe.
Launched last month the site gives Parental Alienation Awareness Day the recognition it deserves. Sponsored by Parental Alienation Awareness Organization the site provides the FREE resources and ideas for volunteers and other Organizations to get the word out about April 25th, Parental Alienation Awareness Day.
The site is open to all, including those planning events, and makes it easy for everyone to post notices of what they are planing to do in their community, to get proclamations, collaborate with people in their area, and for those of us looking for an event near us to find out what is happening. You can also check out proclamation status around the world here.
Downloadable brochures and posters are also available here so print away!!! No limits, No quotas. Lets get them in as many hands as we can.
Brochures and posters are available at our site for both printing at home or for larger purchases. They are EXTREMELY helpful in broadening awareness as well as giving a therapeutic opportunity. In fact a large school board ordered a set of the brochures and within days had children recognizing themselves as being subjected to alienation and helped them prepare to make positive changes in their family life as guided by social workers.
The press has been all over the issue of Parental Alienation in the last month, specially in Ontario Canada. Keep sending us links to articles in your city so we can have them read by everyone. Here are a few that have recently surfaced in Canada.

Adult children of Parental Alienation carry a great deal of pain and power!
We were all children, and dispite our age we can carry the pain of our youth through our adult life. Adult children of parental alienation have the perfect voice to articulate the effects of alienation and assist in awareness.
PAAO, recognizing these powerfull advocates is excited about the launch of KAPAAO (Ka pow) Kids-Aiding-Parental-Alienation-Awareness-Organization. A new advisory committee comprised exclusively of adult children of alienation to help guide the organization. Look for more on that to come on our website very soon.
Thank you Glen for writing us this letter, allowing us to pass it on, and inspiring us all to do more.
(in the words of Glen C)
Good Afternoon,
My name is Glenn C, I am now 36 years old and have been doing my best to live my life in the shadow of some pretty challenging obstacles I had to overcome, live with, or act in spite of, as a child and young adult.
To say that finding the Parental Alienation Awareness Organization (PAAO), its website and the information it contained was enlightening would be an understatement. Roughly 26 years of strong unresolved feelings are prompting my letter to you today, but to try and recap a lifetime of pain, not feeling whole or complete despite my best efforts, would not be practical or possible within the scope of a letter.
Being able to accurately put a finger on the issues that I have been dealing with and trying to communicate those experiences in general would have been impossible for me to do on my own until today. Seeing all of my exact life experiences past and present before me on your website makes it easier for a dialog to begin. For the work that you have done to this point, I thank you.
For the work, that I am about to do, I can not thank you enough.
Please understand this is a topic I would normally avoid at all costs in passing conversation or with a therapist because I did not have the language to convey all that was going on in my life. The weight that I have been carrying has been tremendous and being able to put some of that weight down and “look around” is remarkable.
You will be hearing from me again but feel free to contact me anytime,
Glen C
Canadian Symposium for Parental Alienation Syndrome Conference Review
by Robert Samery, Vice President, PAAO
The Parental Alienation Syndrome symposium, held this past weekend in Toronto Canada, was an overwhelming success. Most presenters spoke of the signs and tactics seen in cases of Parental Alienation. Lawyer Gene Coleman spoke of the Canadian case history of PA (74 cases sighting PA in the decision). A few speakers identified the various remedies, comparing immersion and ongoing therapy. Many therapists held discussions about alienating personality types (narcissist and borderline personality).
The attendees included many target parents, mental health practitioners and a large group of lawyers. Pamela Richardson spoke very eloquently about, her personal struggle, her late son Dash, and her recent advocacy work . She generously gave each symposium attendee a copy of her rivetting book “A Kidnapped Mind”.
It was thrilling to meet some of the personalities I have read or read about and the networking opportunities were great.
Keep your eye on the symposium site, they expect to have recordings of the conference available soon.
The media has eaten up this conference, and the coverage which began about 4 months ago has continued to escalate.
