The Michigan Department of Human Services has received mixed grades in its steps toward a massive, multimillion-dollar overhaul that ultimately would reduce the number of children in foster care.

A same-sex couple in Winnipeg, who were hoping to adopt a foster child who had been placed in their home, were forced to give up the baby Friday after government officials determined another couple should become the adoptive parents.

In a radio interview with Greg Szymanski on September 30, Cheryl Barnes founder of CPS Legal Watch, revealed that the State of Arkansas has given 36 children the swine flu vaccine against their parents’ wishes. The 36 children were taken into custody last fall by the Department of Human Services because the state said they were in jeopardy due to their parents’ involvement with the Tony Alamo Ministries Church.

The Anita Tedaldi adopted child saga spilled out into the pop culture world this week with a New York Times blog entry and an NBC Today Show appearance and the “judging Anita” pile-on is in full swing. Many are outraged at the story – and it is easy to see why.
Note: She should be judged as the ass that she is. Give a child a forever home just to betray him a few months later. Shameful.
