Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for Alberta’s beleaguered child-welfare system …
Bosco Homes’ decision to mothball its operations is a major blow to Alberta Children and Youth Services, both practically and politically.

Thousands of children in foster care as well as those in institutional care must carry their worldly belongings in a black garbage bag as they move from home to home.
Note: They shouldn’t be moving them from home to home. That causes RAD, PTSD, etc. A suitcase isn’t going to help.

Following an extraordinary, late afternoon, two-hour hearing on Monday, June 29th, U.S. District Court Judge John F. Grady today ordered Illinois’ child welfare agency – the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) – to comply with all parts of a court-monitored consent decree that ensures the safety and protects the constitutional rights of children in the state system. Judge Grady’s order recognizes that the State of Illinois would be in violation of the consent decree to which it agreed and cause an irreparable harm to the 16,000 children under the care of DCFS if the so-called “doomsday” budget adopted by the state legislature is allowed to go into effect at midnight, July 1st.

|ObamaCare Shocker: Send in the Social Workers

The proposed Obama government healthcare bill has a government snitch network built into it, allowing social workers to gain access to your home under the pretext of checking on your new baby, or soon-to-be-born baby. It will result in many many more children being taken from families by state Child Protective Services agencies.

They are our lost children. Not cute, cuddly babies with sad eyes, but hard-to-handle, at-risk teenagers, the kids too mentally ill, too self-destructive, too neurologically compromised to live in regular foster care or group homes.
