My petition asks Family Law makers World-Wide to endorse Preferential Equal Shared Parenting as the benchmark in World-Wide Family Law and Social Policy. Giving Children their biological Family from conception. Reinforcing the need for Children to be brought up under the influence of their whole Family.

DESIRED OUTCOME
Children know and have regular rewarding contact with their whole biological Family from conception whether the Family resides together or not.

WHO WE NEED TO INFLUENCE
The petition needs to influence the Law makers of ALL countries, grow existing Equal Parenting Organisations and build new ones where there are none.

that is a lovely and ideal notion. both sides of grandparents for my children are not interested in my children – one set educated other not educated. 9 years later not one phone call to say ‘hi bubbies’ or any visits to the playground by grandparents. The current generations especially in NZ (as a reasonably new country) are pretty mucked up. I have realised that I don’t want my children to learn to lie and be false and nasty from their grandparents. it’s very lonely but I have broken free from their shit and ain’t turning back, or having my children around ‘white collared’ controll freaks and abusers. Honest people who do not control need to open their hearts and homes to others who need support from like minded families.

Aileen – Thanks for this post – I feel pretty well the same about the NOW – However I did know 3 of my Grands and learn much about my 4th who died before I was born – I beleive there is much to be gained in getting GOVTs OUT of FAMILY so that within a few generations we will come back to value old fashioned FAMILY and the great differences in ALL people in safer soundings – Greater there will bwe much pain on the way thru out of damaged FAMILIES like ours – Onward – Jim

hi jim all the very best and hope you have a quick recovery, we have just last year got our grandson back and for the first time in 7 years we have once again truely celebrated christmas we have two other grandsons and love them dearly but the family was not complete without him, we kept feeling guilty when it came to days-out birthdays things like that now we are complete again, dont ever give up, all parents&grandparents provided they are in no danger should be allowed equal parenting, and my friends after a dispute arrises dont leave it for months try and get it sorted early through mediation. and one thing that is important it dont matter who was right and who was wrong.its happened, do your utmost best to forgive & forget, why because it is the kids that suffer and why because adults argue. so if you love your children/grandchildren for there sake work things out if you cant forgive the person no one is asking that but for the kids sake be civil to each other, (its only till the kids are picked up) kids dont understand why daddys or mummys not in there life they just hurt, and the last thing on earth you should try is going to a lawyer you just get ripped off and the money wasted on them could have been better spent on the child/ren or grandchildren.
so for there sakes please please be civil and it will get easier as time goes on, so to both parents/grandparentsparents/do it for the love off the children, its them and there future that matter,
